Connecting with customers, collaborators, suppliers, and scientific experts across global events in 2025
This year we once again had a strong presence at key scientific meetings, industry exhibitions and academic conferences worldwide. Through participation in more than 40 events across three continents, we reinforced our commitment to understanding our customer needs, sharing scientific expertise, supporting innovation, and staying at the forefront of developments across diagnostics, and life sciences.
Biosynth opened the spring season with a busy schedule, participating in key events that strengthened collaborations and showcased our innovative capabilities –
CACLP in Hangzhou, China, marked the start of our exhibition season and highlighted our role as a trusted partner in clinical and veterinary diagnostics. The event has become essential for connecting with the Chinese diagnostics and life sciences market, providing an opportunity to engage in valuable conversations and strengthen relationships with existing partners. Its proximity to our Suzhou facility allowed customers to visit firsthand, reinforcing confidence in our local presence and BSL-2 certified operations.

Across both the spring and autumn editions of the World Vaccine Congress, Biosynth connected with global vaccine developers to discuss challenges in vaccine discovery, formulation, and production. Conversations at our booth highlighted how vaccine developers are looking for improved immunogen design and generation, neoantigens, and integrated solutions for development and manufacture next-generation conjugate vaccines. We also heard about the continuing need for high quality raw materials, and novel high GMP grade adjuvants like Poly I:C.
At TIDES USA in San Diego, an event we have attended for many years, Peter Timmerman, PhD showcased how our CLIPS™ technology accelerates ligand identification and lead optimization. The event, and Peter’s engaging talk, sparked discussions and strong interest in our distinctive capabilities, including peptide lead generation and optimization services, bioconjugation expertise, R&D peptides, and GMP production. As a dual event for both peptides and oligonucleotides, we also heard from the oligonucleotide industry about the ongoing challenges in raw material supply. This is a key area for us, as we have extensive experience in antisense building blocks and raw materials for oligonucleotide production, as well as tools for delivery of SiRNAs and ASOs such as cell penetrating peptide (CPPs) and GalNac clusters.

Other key events in the spring included Swiss Biotech, CIMT, and CPhI North America, further strengthening Biosynth’s visibility across the global life sciences landscape.
A quieter summer schedule still while maintaining a strong presence at major global life sciences and diagnostics events –
Biosynth continued its global engagement through a busy summer season, participating in key conferences and exhibitions across peptides, diagnostics, and biotechnology.
The 73rd ASMS Conference in Baltimore, USA, brought together the global mass spectrometry community. Attendees showed strong interest in our SIL peptides (stable isotope-labeled) and custom antibody services and reinforced the ongoing need for reliable standards in detection and quantification. Our peptide services and long expertise in labelled peptides supports proteomics workflows with high-performance tools, helping researchers streamline protein quantitation.
The 29th American Peptide Symposium & 15th International Peptide Symposium was an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the latest research trends shaping the future of peptide science. While our booth drew strong interest, the true highlight was again Peter Timmerman and his Poster Flash Talk, “A High-Diversity mRNA-Platform for the Discovery of Multicyclic Peptides”. The CLIPS technology continues to generate interest, particularly for radiopharmaceutical applications where stability is critical.
At the BIO International Convention in Boston, USA, a premier global biotechnology event, our multidisciplinary team engaged in high-quality discussions across R&D, custom synthesis, and scalable manufacturing. A key focus was the field of personalized vaccines, where our R&D to GMP peptide capabilities proved a strong fit for industry needs. With GMP manufacturing expertise and clinical trial support, we are well positioned to stand out and drive innovation in this rapidly evolving market.
The specialized Neoantigen Summit Europe in Amsterdam brought together the immunotherapy community, providing a focused forum for discussion around personalized cancer vaccines. The event being held close to our site in Lelystad where we undertake neoantigen projects was a great bonus. At the event, we continued to hear about the critical need to fast turnaround times from sequencing to patient treatment. This aligns with our optimized workflows direct injectables.
At ADLM in Chicago, a key global diagnostics event, Biosynth engaged closely with customers to discuss key challenges in developing and bringing new IVD solutions to market. There was a great reception to Dr. Adrian Hery Barranco’s poster that he presented on on innovative approaches and reagents for next-generation diagnostics, showcasing a number of novel technologies. This includes Biosynth range of chromogenic and fluorogenic enzyme substrates for diagnostics, as well as synthetic or recombinant replacements for traditional native proteins. Discussions at our booth highlighted strong interest in our reagents, enzymes, and custom solutions for secure, long-term supply.

Autumn 2025 was time for our key life sciences and diagnostics events -CPhI Frankfurt and Medica.
CPhI Worldwide in Frankfurt, one of the must-attend events for the life sciences industry, was once again our flagship event of the year. Our teams from across our organization connected with existing and new customers. Together, we explored how Biosynth’s integrated solutions “From Practical to Pioneering” unlock new opportunities, simplify supply chains, and support projects from early R&D through GMP manufacture and long-term supply. Our booth saw strong traffic throughout the event, with numerous conversations set to develop into partnerships over the coming months.

MEDICA in Düsseldorf closed out our major exhibition calendar in November. As a core event for our biologics and IVD business, we connected with diagnostic manufacturers and research organizations looking for reliable antibody and reagent suppliers. Conversations highlighted interest in our integrated solutions for assay development, validation, and long-term supply, with a renewed interest in tropical and emerging disease. As with ADLM, the topic of more sustainable, more reproducible or just improved replacements for native proteins and reagents was a very popular one. We were able to share information about both our existing portfolio and custom solutions, as well being very pleased to discuss the launch of our recombinant horseradish peroxidase (rHRP), solving problems in quality and supply for this critical reagent.

Among other autumn events, Biosynth attended the Boulder Peptide Symposium, TIDES EU, and the Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals Summit, and held booths at the Festival of Biologics and Advanced Lateral Flow Conference. Our teams discussed complex peptide synthesis, biologics development, and enzyme and substrate solutions, with booth activity reflecting strong interest in custom chemistry, bioconjugates, and GMP manufacturing from early R&D through commercialization.
Reflections
Across 2025, one theme stood out clearly: customers value partners they can meet in person. While video calls are effective for routine matters, building complex partnerships, especially those requiring technical depth and trust, are still often best achieved face-to-face. And the same is true for hearing about the latest developments and challenges, a chance discussion in a poster session, a chat over a coffee, hearing a talk or keynote.
We’re planning a strong 2026 exhibition calendar, returning to CPhI Frankfurt, China and USA, CACLP, ADLM, BIO International, TIDES USA, and Medica. With evolving peptide and biologics markets, new therapeutic modalities create opportunities for partners capable of supporting complex chemistry and manufacturing.

True partnership isn’t built through emails alone; it’s built through conversations, handshakes, and the trust that comes from face-to-face engagement.
